Its succulent needle-like leaves remain green in color throughout the season. The brick red stems are very colorful and add to the overall interest of the plant. Landscape Attributes Largeflower Fameflower is an herbaceous perennial with an upright spreading habit of growth. It brings an extremely fine and delicate texture to the garden composition and should be used to full effect. This is a relatively low maintenance plant, and should not require much pruning, except when necessary, such as to remove dieback. It has no significant negative characteristics. Largeflower Fameflower is recommended for the following landscape applications; Planting & Growing Largeflower Fameflower will grow to be only 4 inches tall at maturity extending to 8 inches tall with the flowers, with a spread of 12 inches.
